Indian-American professor receives prize

The Indian-American professor of chemical engineering at Mississippi State University, Neeraj Rai, for his outstanding research in developing advanced computational frameworks to understand the physical and chemical processes at the molecular level, going to receive $750,000 as an award.

Rai, whose research titled as “Probing Condensed-Phase Structure and Dynamics in Hierarchical Zeolites and Nanosheets for Catalytic Upgradation of Biomass”, is among the 59 other scientists, who have won the award.

The President for research and economic development of MSU, David Shaw, while reacting on the incident said that the organization is “very proud” of the achievements made by Dr. Rai and his contribution to the University.
