Indian-origin man gets 17 year jail

The 25-year-old Indian-origin man has been sentenced to 17 years of jail as well as 24 strokes of cane on Monday for raping a cleaner after she successfully foiled his attempt to rob her.

According to the media reports, Kelvin Singh Jagjit has been convicted with the charges of rape and sexual assault.
