UAE home for rich Indians

Recently, according to the report, UAE became the world’s hub for people with high net worth. Adding more to that, the report published in the Khaleej Times says that the super rich Non-resident Indians (NRIs) are finding UAE their next home.

The Khaleej Times quoted a report Hurun Report, says that after UAE, United Kingdom and United States are the two other most prefered immigration destination for the 40 super-rich Indians. The report says that around 14 super-rich Indians prefers UAE, which is followed by UK (10) and US (8) as their location of immigration.

The list of 40 Indians include some of the major names of the Indian business industry such as L N Mittal of ArcelorMittal, who is also a richest man in the list and and Indian immigrant in UK with the total worth of ₹882 billion. Others in UAE includes, Micky Jagtiani of Landmark Group (₹347 billion) and M.A. Yusuf Ali of Emke Group (₹319 billion).

Chairman and Chief Researcher at Hurun Report Global, Rupert Hoogewerf, speaking on the report said that the new entrants in the super rich list have increased 6 times which is indication that Indian entrepreneurs are preparing themselves for global competition.

The list includes the name of entrepreneurs in different fields such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, chemicals and petrochemicals in 13,10 and 6 percent sizes.
