The Indian Cultural Center and Temple in Memphis, Tennessee celebrated the brahmotsavam festival, which included homam, prasadam, procession as well as flowers. The puja was performed every evening to offer their worship to the Lord Venkateshwara.

According to the report published in the Times of India, the puja was performed in the similar way as it is done in the temple of Tirumala.

The special attraction of the whole celebration was Bathukamma or the Telangana’s floral festival, which was performed by the Hindu women in their traditional wear. The festival was decorated beautifully with flowers of different colors as well as varieties.

The program, which was organized by the volunteers of the ICCT, was aimed at showcasing the diversity of the Indian culture.

Worshipping of Goddess Durga and Shakti along with the traditional Dandiya dance was also performed in the program to celebrate the beginning of the Navratri festival.
