Indian man held for child sex offences

UK Court on Wednesday has convicted an Indian man who has been arrested for child sex offences with another 18 people.

The man, Prabhat Nelli, has been among other convicts from Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran as well as Turkey. All have been found convicted for their involvement in the sex grooming network in a town in Newcastle in North-East England, according to the reports.

The court was also told that the group provided drinks and drugs to the girls of age 14 before assaulting them brutally.

The group has been assigned for more than 100 offences from human trafficking, rape along with prostitution as well as drug supply from 2011 to 2014.

Reports also said that the victim which were presented in the court said that they were raped, exploited as well as sexually abused by the group.

Along with Prabhat Nelli, other convicts includes, Eisa Mousavi, Mohammed Ali, Nashir Uddin, Monjur Choudhury, Tehrul Alam, Badrul Hussain, Habibur Rahim, Carolann Gallon, Saiful Islam, Abdul Sabe, Jahanger Zaman, Nadeem Aslam, Yassar Hussain, Redwan Siddquee and Mohibur Rahman.

Child sexual assault as well as exploitation is increasing in the country and the security agencies are doing their best to keep the issue under control.
