Anti-Trump Protests

Thousands of anti-Trump protesters have come out in the street with violent protests which has made the common peoples life hell. The protesters are not able to contain the Republican candidate’s decisive victory in the recently concluded American presidential elections.

Thousands of protesters have come out in the street, as they were on the way to Trump Tower, another hundreds have gathered at a Manhattan park and shouted “Not my president.”

“Not my president!” Chicago resident Michael Burke said that he believes the president-elect will “divide the country and stir up hatred.”

In Boston, anti-Trump protesters streamed through downtown, chanting “Trump’s a racist” and carried signs that said “Impeach Trump” and “Abolish Electoral College.

Protesters chanted “No racist USA, no Trump, no KKK.” Another group stood outside the White House is holding candles, listened to the speeches and sang songs. Protesters at American University has burned U.S. flags on campus.

The protest in Oregondowntown area drew several Trump supporters and they taunted the demonstrators with signs.

Major violence was reported from Oakland, California, during a protest that began shortly before midnight.

In the downtown Seattle street, protesters had held anti-Trump and Black Lives Matter signs and chanted slogans, “Misogyny has to go,” and “The people united, will never be defeated.”

In New York, several groups of protesters held signs that read “Trump Makes America Hate” and chanted “hey, hey, ho, ho Donald Trump has got to go.” and “Impeach Trump.”

In downtown Seattle on Wednesday, a gunman has opened fire in the evening following an argument and wounded five people, one man critically. “The shooting did not appear to be connected to the anti-Trump demonstrations, but instead stemmed from a personal argument,” said Robert Merner, assistant chief of the Seattle Police Department.

“It appears that some type of argument took place. This individual began to walk away from the crowd, then turned and fired into the crowd,” Merner said.
