Sikh truck drivers are protesting against ELDs

The American Sikh truck drivers are protesting against the decision of installing Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) by lining their trucks at Interstate 465.

According to the Sikh community the decision will not only cost more money to the owners but it will also prove as a big economic threat. The Sikh Political Action Committee has also asked for delaying the rule till it can be implemented in more owner-friendly way.

All the Sikh organizations are asking for the delay in implementation of the rule so that the Sikh owners can understand the law properly and then they can implement it in a more fruitful way.

According to them the decision can affect the whole economy as it may trigger various delays in the businesses and small businesses can suffer badly due to the decision.
