With US easing the restrictions and easing life back to normal, a new development has reported to cause a massive setback to all the progress so far. Medical experts have mentioned multiple times that reopening is going to contribute to new flare-ups without any further questions.

A similar incident was reported in California where a cluster of infections were reported in Pasadena after a coughing patient attended a birthday party in the area.

The health officials reported that a large group of extended family and friends attended a recently arranged birthday party, irrespective of the stay at home orders that were in place in the state, leading to the cluster of infection and the sudden spike in the number of cases.

According to the reports from CNN, it said that one woman at the party was coughing and not wearing a mask, as per the protocol guidelines. She even went on to joke that she could be infected with Covid-19. Not just that one woman, the entire gathering included people who didn’t follow the norms of social distancing.

Some of the guests at the party even reported to CNN saying that the woman’s behaviour was extremely selfish.

When the officials conducted contact tracing, the investigators found more than five confirmed cases and many more ill individuals who attended the party.

This is not the first time that the people in America have broken the social distancing norms. They have time and time repeated the same with the protests conducted against the stay at home orders.

Marches of people came out on the streets protesting to get the stay at home order off the table and let them get back to work and get the economy back up.

California itself has reported over 65,000 confirmed cases with over 2000 reported deaths.
There has been a consistent controversy over how much restrictions should be eased and how the process should be gone on with.

In other reports, the health officials have also been investigating 73 reported cases of covid-19 in New York which have shown similar signs to Kawasaki disease or toxic shock syndrome.

US has reported over 1.3 million confirmed cases with over 80,000 reported deaths in the country.
