A small plane crashed in a rural region of Georgia. All five killed on board from which four are from a Florida family who were travelling to a funeral in Indiana. The deaths include 2 children.

Putnam County Sills told the media that all are dead afternoon in the plane crash which was about 100 miles from Southeast of Atlanta. Sills identified the people as Larry Ray Pruitt, 67, of Morriston, Florida; Shawn Charles Lamont, 41, of Gainesville, Florida; his wife Jody Rae Lamont, 43; and their two children, 6-year-old Jayce and 4-year-old Alice.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the flight Piper PA31-T was flying from Williston, Florida to Newcastle, Indiana.

A resident, Tracy Carter at Milledgeville told that he saw a plane circling the area and later caught fire. The parts of the plane flew high and landed down in the field. He heard a huge sound.

Emergency teams visited the place to put off the flames in a wood surrounded area. The investigation shall be done by FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
