In the entire USA presidential administration history, this is the first time that there are so many Indian- Americans who are filling in positions at Biden’s administration and the White House.

It has been less than 100 hours for the Joe Biden inauguration and there are already so many Indian- Americans filling up positions. There have been 20 Indian Americans including 13 women who have been nominated or appointed to key positions in the administrations. This sets a milestone and sets a proud moment for India’s history with America.

There are 20 Indian-Americans in the Joe Biden administration and 17 Indian-Americans who are a part of powerful positions in the White House complex.

Some of the positions include, White House Counsel, Senior adviser for climate policy and innovation, policy adviser for testing for the White House COVID-19 Response Team, Senior director for technology and national security, senior director for South Asia, coordinator for democracy and human rights, Associate and deputy White House Counsel, Crucial National Security of the White House, Assistant press secretary to the President, director speech writing and Vice President.

Kamala Harris, the Vice President herself is an Indian descendant. She is the first Indian American Vice President in the American history.

Joe Biden has always had a good rapport and shares friendly relationships with India since a decade. The Joe Biden presidential inauguration will take place on January 20th.
