Joe Biden, President of the United States named Vedant Patel the Assistant White House Press Secretary.

During the 2020 presidential elections, Vedant Patel served as the Western Primary states Communications Director for Joe Biden’s campaign.

On Friday, Joe Biden announced the various members of the White House Communications and Press Staff. During this time was when he named Vedant Patel as Assistant White House Press Secretary.

Patel is currently the senior spokesperson for the Biden Inaugural. During the Biden Campaign, he served as the Regional Communications Director. He was also the Communication Director for the Indian American Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, Western Regional Press Secretary and to Congressman Mike Honda.

Vedant Patel was born in India and raised in California. He studied at the University of Florida.

Biden had appointed multiple Indian-American citizens in his administration. His diverse, experienced and talented individuals demonstrate the president’s commitment to building ad administration to show that America is ready to accept and provide results to all working families.

Biden has also stated to the press that he is proud to have Indian-Americans serving the US nation.
