Four prominent Indian Americans from Chicago has participated as the official representatives of the Indian American Business Council at the Pravasi Haryana Divas in Gurgaon, Delhi, India.

The representatives are Poonam Gupta-Krishnan, Harish Kolasani, Keerthi Kumar Ravoori and Chacko Kurian. They had interacted with the government ministers and high-ranking officials to compliment their efforts for laying out a preliminary road map to inspire the investors to make India an investment destination.

Gupta-Krishnan, CEO of Iyka International and IABC chairperson, had said that the event has served as a “momentous opportunity” for IABC to serve as an effective catalyst to garner U.S. investors to Haryana and other states in India to benefit both the countries. She had led the team to interact with the officials, corporate heads and other entrepreneurs to forge a collaboration.

Kolasani, IABC President, had said that Pravasi Haryana Divas has opened the “sluice gates of investment opportunities” in wide range of sectors and said that IABC would play a substantive role in leveraging the organizational capital to build bridges of partnerships to encourage mutually-beneficial business opportunities, especially in the area of information technology.

Harish Kolasani said that IABS will make all out efforts to interact with the government officials to cut down the red tape that routinely daunts the potential business entrepreneurs.

Ravoori, IABC vice president, has outlined the several initiatives that has to be undertaken by IABC to promote business and investments opportunities between India and the United States.

Haryana, in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry, has hosted the diaspora summit to usher a epitome shift in the development of the state. The conference has included cultural programs and an awards presentation and has showcased the best of Haryana and touted its global class city as a ‘preferred investment destination’.
