A Pakistani man brutally murdered an Indian businessman and his wife inside their villa in Dubai during robbery and break-in.

In a tragic incident on Tuesday two people in their 40’s were killed by a Pakistani man inside their own villa. The man was trying to rob the house and in the midst of the breaking in and robbery the Pakistani man ended up killing the couple. This news was reported on a Gulf news channel. The couple had a villa at the Arabian Ranches in Dubai. Dubai police began their investigation on the same.

The two people, husband and wife were identified as Hiren Adhiya and Vidhi Adhiya, The police got to know of this case when the daughter of the assassined couple called the Dubai Police Command room to report the incident.

The Director of Criminal Investigation in the Department of Dubai Police, Brigadier Jamal Al Jallaf, has closely investigated the case. The police was successful in arresting the Pakistani man within 2 hours of the incident.

It was a clear cut case of robbery. The Pakistani man broke in the villa and stole a wallet containing Dh. 2,000 which is close to Rs. 41,229. He then went on to the bedroom to search for more valuables. But the man sleeping woke up with the noise and the thief stabbed him and the wife too who had been up by them. He kept stabbing both of them until they were dead. With all the noise and commotion their 18 year old daughter woke up, the attacker stabbed her in the neck and escaped. The brave daughter called the Dubai police immediately. She suffered minor injuries from the stab in the neck.

The patrols and forensic experts investigated the two floor villa. The officers found the knife used to stab the couple one kilometer away from the house. The officers were quick to identify the suspect and arrest him immediately.

Indian Consulate General in Dubai was quickly contacted and they had identified the couple. The man worked as an executive manager at a company and lived along with his wife and two daughters aged 18 and 13 years old. Both the daughters are safe, but the couple was announced dead on the spot.

Colonel Adil Al Joker, the assistant of the director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Dubai Police, said that the suspect admitted to the crime and that he planned to break into the villa. The suspect used to do maintenance work at the villa over a year ago and had seen a large amount of money on the table, which was what lured him to break into the villa. He also said that he bought the knife on the day of the crime

The couple also ran their own business with an office in Sharjah.
