Malala Yousafzai the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner from Pakistan completes her 3 year course degree in Philosophy, politics and economics from the prestigious Oxford University and expresses her gratitude over a tweet on Friday night.

The youngest NobelPrize laureate, Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education and empowerment. She won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017 when she was just 17 years old. In 2012 she was shot by a Taliban gunman in an attempt of assassination. Her condition was very critical as she was hit in the head with a bullet. She was shifted to Birmingham for further treatment where she got better. Her struggles got recognized and she wrote a book on her life and her experience. She was later also awarded an honorary Canadian citizenship. She completed her high schoolin England and went to Lady Margaret Hall at Oxford University for her higher studies in Philosophy, politics and economics. She announced her completion of this degree on Friday where she expressed gratitude towards everything. She took to twitter to write a fun caption on her graduation. She says she doesn’t know what lies ahead but she is looking forward to Netflix, read and sleep.

Malala Yousafzai is listed among the most influential people in the world. She shared the joy and gratitude at finishing her degree at UK’s Oxford University. In the picture she posted along with her tweet she was seen covered in food and confetti which is one of the traditions at the Oxford University after the completion of their exams. This tradition is popularly known as Trashing. The Nobel Prize laureate and the new university graduate also posted a picture with her family and a graduation cake. It looks like the whole family is proud of her for completing her graduation.

When Malala and her family moved to the United Kingdom back in 2013, the 22 year old and her father started an organization called the Malala Fundwhich promotes girl education. The fund basically is for girls to get a free, safe and quality education up to 12 years.

Malala was also the inspiration behind the documentary called’ He named me Malala’. This documentary was shortlisted in the 2015 Oscar list.

The biggest tech company I the world, Apple also partnered with Malala Fund back in 2018. The Apple partnership allowed the Malala fund to expand its financing to India andLatin America and offering secondary education to over 100,000 girls.
