While the world might know and recognise Indrajeet Prasad as an award winning scientist affiliated with the European Commission, he is one who knows where his roots are. Prasad has been consistently helping Czech and Indian students towards a better career abroad, especially in the research centres.

Prasad is a Junior Scientist with European Commission’s Horizon 2020 project, AVA: Accelerators Validating Antimatter Physics. He is currently based out of Prague, Czech Republic and has been doing his best to give back to the students there to help guide them towards a brighter future.

He has been living outside of India since 2011 as an expat and is a genius mind who has not just been helping himself but others too. Prasad has been awarded with the prestigious EU’s Horizon 2020 Marie Curie Research Fellowship Award not once but twice.

He also has around five years of experience in the fields of “Electrical-Electronics R&D Engineering, International research, product development and project management.”

But, the one thing that does make Indrajeet different from the rest is the amazing work that he has been doing for his country even while living outside. He has been making his country proud by educating the Indian and Czech students and helping them find better research options based out of Europe.

This step that he has been doing for quite some years now comes from his desire in seeing the young minds doing just what they are meant for.

Prasad is known for his public speeches as well and he recently spoke at the Marie Curie Fellowship and even made a presentation for the students in the Bachelors and Master’s degrees from the Departments of Physics and Electronics & Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University (CTU).

His main aim with his public speeches is to raise better awareness and knowledge surrounding the available Ph.D opportunities that are available under the Marie Curie research projects.

It is not just the speeches and the public events that Prasad conducts, he has also leveraged the use of the various social media platforms to get his words out there to the aspiring students and fellow aspiring researchers who are in need of proper guidance to get their career in the right path.

Aside from helping guide the students, he also does provide with all the ground realities that come associated with it.
