Following the Capitol attack, multiple social media platforms are rapidly removing USA’s former President Donald Trump’s accounts or any accounts which are affiliated with pro-Trump conspiracies, mobs and violence. A few of this accounts and hastags include QAnon and #StoptheSteal.

Applications, websites and social media platforms that have put a ban on Trump’s accounts include Reddit, Shopify, Google, Tiktok, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Apple, Discord, Pinterest and Stripe. Trump has been losing access to all these platforms from spreading messages freely. However, pro-Trump and Trump supporters will be able to gather online and write messages, post pictures or speak freely regarding him. However, messages of violence, racism, culturally insensitive and offensive messages from accounts will be immediately deleted and suspended.

The #Trumpcancelled tweet and hashtag has been trending since the removal of Trump’s account. His political popularity has been highly famous following the Capitol attack by Pro Trump supporters and white supremacists which led to the death of 5 members and harm to multiple Democratic representatives and 3000$ worth damage to the building.

Republican supporters are showing their support for the former USA President during his couple last days of Presidency.

The reason these platforms deleted Trump’s accounts is due to the insensitive messages Trump has been sending out which led to violent attacks by mobsters and pro-Trump protesters.

During Trump’s presidency, he has plans of banning the famous Chinese social media app Tiktok. However, before he could ban the application, the application banned the President and any pro-Trump accounts instead.
