All the desi youngsters must have at least once enlightened by their desi mothers on how to make a perfect roti. But predictably end up in making a shapeless one.

The British-born France TV star behind Netflix’s American series Queer Eye posted a YouTube tutorial on how to make roti and showed a step-by-step procedure on making rotis in his own kitchen.

Besides, he also shared with millions of his fans that he learned how to make rotis from his mom when he was just about 7-years-old.

The tutorial has already garnered 265,193 views.

One Twitter user @sh1vani commented: “I’m getting shamed so hard by my mother right now. Just glad my nani doesn’t have internet.” Another user by the name Cosmic girl tweeted: “The tutorial we never knew, we needed.”

Another user, Christopher McDonald, tweeted: “Pitch a new show for Food Network. This looks good.”

Born Tanveer Wasim Safdar, France grew up in England to Muslim Pakistani parents. He currently is seen as the fashion expert in Queer Eye, currently in its third season, where he is featured alongside food expert Antoni Porowski and design expert Bobby Berk. France’s upcoming memoir, Naturally Tan, will be released in Summer 2019.
