Three Sikhs were stabbed to death after a clash between two groups within the Sikh community. The incident had taken place in east London when a fight has erupted between the Sikh communities which lead to the stabbing of three people being fatally attacked.

The police has said that a call has been received at around 19:40 GMT on Sunday and has been reported of a disturbance that was caused in Elmstead road in Seven Kings, Ilford.

The victims were named as Narinder Singh, 26, Harinder Kumar, 22and Baljit singh, 34, as named by the family and friends locally. They are thought to be construction workers from India. All the three victims were declared to be dead at the scene in Seven Kinds, Ilford, east London

The incident has been described as horrific aftermath of the fight that has started off in Ilford, east London on Sunday in the evening.

The individuals who were involved are understood to be from the Sikh and Hindu communities and it is also understood that the violence has been spilled out from the near by event after the rise in the tensions on Saturday.

The Chief Superintendent Stephen Clayman said that the suspects and the victims were all thought to be knowing each other as they were the members of the Sikh community, as he spoke at the scene.

While the motive of the clash is still under investigation being conducted by the officers, it is said that the reason being terrorism has been ruled out.

The members of the families of the deceased men are being contacted.

The Mayor said that he had been in talks with the met police officers of the redbridge Council and MP sam tarry has promised to support the community by doing everything that can be possible.

He added saying that, there exists only one solution for tackling the violence which is with a laser-like focus on catching the criminals which can be done by being tough on crime and by identifying and addressing the root cause of the violence which can be anything like poverty, inequality and social alienation but the Government funding to the public services will be increased which includes police, sports facilities and local councils.

The Metropolitan Police said that they have arrested two men, aged 29 and 39 on suspicion of the murder

It has been said by the owner of the Seven Kings Cars which is opposite the railway station, that he has been approached for help by a man with his hands filled with blood on Sunday in the evening after three people had been badly injured.

The post-mortem examinations have to be arranged and also the formal identification of the persons has yet to be taken place.

It is said that, there have been six homicides which have been recorded until now in 2020, in the capital.
