Dates, Nuts and Coconut Balls are healthy, tasty and prefect for any special occasion. These balls can be easily prepared at your home with easily available ingredients. It has a nice flavor and taste and also has a nice aroma and also has an amazing combination of mixed nuts, grated coconut and dates. This snack is prefect after school snack for your kid’s. Let’s follow this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped dates (khajur)
  • 15-20 finely chopped almonds (badam)
  • 15-20 finely chopped pistachios
  • 20-25 finely chopped cashew nuts (kaju)
  • 2 tbsp ghee

For The Garnish

  • dessicated coconut, as needed
  • cocoa powder, as needed

Directions

  1. Heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the dates and cook on a low flame for 3 to 4 minutes and stir continuously.
  2. Switch off the flame, add the chopped almonds, pistachios and cashew nuts and mix it well and keep the mixture aside to cool completely.
  3. Once cooled, divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape each portion into round balls.
  4. Take a ball and roll half the side of the ball with the dessicated coconut and the remaining half with cocoa powder.
  5. Serve it immediately or store at room temperature in an airtight container and enjoy when ever you want to.
