Nikki Haley slams Pakistan

The United States ambassador to United Nations Nikki Haley slammed Pakistan and said that Washington would not tolerate terrorist safe havens in the country, reiterating the stand, which was recently voiced by President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Nikki Haley placed his views in the 20th Annual Legislative Gala, which was hosted by Indian-American Friendship Council in Washington on October 31. According to the report published in the News India Times, 200 people attended the function.

US Lawmakers Across Parties Stressed Upon Strong Ties with India

Haley said that even though Pakistan has been the partner of the United States on many instances, US cannot tolerate its government or any other government providing safe havens to terrorists targeting the US citizens. She also asserted we are communicating the message strongly to Pakistan than in the past.

Large number of US lawmakers as well as senators were present for the gala from across the parties. The list include the high-profile names such as Senator Lindsey Graham, Chuck Schumer, Brad Sherman, Ed Royce, Frank Pallone, Carolyn Maloney, Tulsi Gabbard. Along with them Indian-American lawmakers, Ami Bera, Raja Krishnamoorthi were also present.
