NHS said that their staff have been working continuously to handle the mass vaccine deployment. The first 800000 doses of Pfizer vaccine will go to the older people who are over 80 age. Many of the old people are outpatients and have returned to their homes as in line to receive the vaccine.

The country reported over 1,742,000 active cases and the crossed 61,000 deaths.

The U.K Prime Minster Boris Johnson tweeted “Thank you to our NHS, to all of the scientists who worked so hard to develop this vaccine, to all the volunteers – and to everyone who has been following the rules to protect others”. he also added that “we will beat this together”
