Virgin Hyperloop created history on Sunday with its first successful ride with a human passenger in the hyperloop pod at the DevLoop test Facility in the United States.

The testing will continue with Tanay Manjrekar, Virgin’s Hyperloop’s power Electronics specialist who is from Pune. He will be riding next.

The Hyperloop has been trying to turn technology into reality. Josh Giegel, co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer and Sara Luchian, the director of Passenger Experience were the first people in the world to ride on the new form of transportation.

This was the first time humans were used to test the transportation. The human testing was overseen by the ISA, The Independent Safety Assessor Certifer. This process to develop this was exhaustive and demonstrates safety and critical systems to detect any abnormalities and conditions that trigger emergency responses, as per the company releases. More news regarding the mode of transportation and its working will be released to the media soon.
