A 27-year-old Rajkot woman lodged a complaint against his Non-Resident Indian spouse for abandoning her right after their wedding ceremony four years ago.

Tulja Chandhubhai Kansara, on Friday charged against her husband and in-laws under Domestic violence Act at Mahila Police Station asserting that her husband Bonny and in-laws, Pravinbhai Patel and Jaishree Pravin Patel left to United States within four days of wedding ceremony in February 2014 and never cam back.

According to police, the wedding was settled by the families as they met through with an advertisement in the matrimonial column of a community magazine.

Tulja alleged that, her mother-in-law returned to U.S. after fetching all her adornments that she received from her parents and family members.

“After marriage we lived at Upleta and Rajkot with Bonny’s relatives. After four days of marriage, my husband and in-laws returned to U.S. by promising that they will be taking her after completing legal formalities but in vain.”

She further said that after waiting for them for four long years, her father-in-law in a telephonic conversation said that they do not want to maintain any relation with her nor with her family even Bonny breaking communication with her.
